Fertilization Control System Research in Orchard Based on the PSO-BP-PID Control Algorithm

In order to improve the precision of variable-rate fertilization system in orchards, this paper conducted a simulation by MATLAB and experimental research based on experiment platform. The platform was mainly composed power supply, DC motors, PPC-15A1 on-board computer that contains PCI8932 PC-DAQ, speed sensors, fertilizer dischargers, NAV60 module can receive Beidou Navigation Satellite System positioning data. According application mechanism an external grooved wheel applicator, control model driven motor for orchards established. A BP neural network adaptive PID controller particle swarm optimization (PSO) proposed system. step response results show overshoot BP-PID optimized PSO algorithm (PSO-BP-PID) is 12.7%, adjustment time 0.557 s. experiments were conducted, which tested using PSO-BP-PID controller. variable seeder Chinese national standard adopted evaluate performance indexes system, such as range amount adjustment, amount. rate experiments, average errors, respectively, are 1.16% 1.07%, under conditions changing target vehicle speed. test consistent with results, parameters improved.
